Theory Programs
The crane training school features a strong grounding in theory related to inspection, power-line safety, theory and site hazards involved in crane operation. People training would get understanding of hardware applications, load charts and rigging. Direct feedback and quizzes throughout the course would help individuals training solidify their knowledge.
Theory course topics: Introduction to crane certification process; safety fundamentals for crane operators; crane operation knowledge; rigging knowledge; crane rigging charts; communications knowledge; load chart knowledge; crane pre-trip inspections & set-up, and crane maintenance and service.
Practical Programs
The crane training school consists of practical training involving hands-on learning. This part teaches trainees how to identify crane terminology and components. Trainees will have the opportunity to perform skills considered necessary for crane operating, signaling and rigging.
Practical course topics: Learn crane terms; identify crane components and functions; use remote control; identify wire ropes and rigging; identify documents and regulations for rigging and wire rope; pre-use inspection on crane; carry out correct lifting and lowering of loads; carry out rigging techniques and use radio and hand signals.
