GROUND DISTURBANCE ONLINE COURSE OVERVIEW
This online Ground Disturbance Course is designed for planners, managers, supervisors and employees who are or will be required to develop, plan and implement any kind of ground disturbance. Upon successful completion of this course you should be able to identify and define ground disturbance; describe the hazards of ground disturbance; decide what permits and agreements will be required; describe how to locate and identify underground facilities; describe regulations associated with ground disturbance; describe the responsibilities for owners and ground disturbers; and describe safety requirements.
This online Ground Disturbance Training for Supervisors course contains the same course content as a classroom delivered Ground Disturbance 201 course which has been approved as meeting the content and delivery requirements of the "Ground Disturbance 201 Safety Training Standard" of the Alberta Common Ground Alliance (ABCGA), formerly the Alberta Damage Prevention Council.
Ground Disturbance Course For Supervisors Test
Testing conducted throughout this online Ground Disturbance Training For Supervisors course is designed to reinforce the information presented. A mark of 80% must be achieved in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants are able to repeat the course twice if the pass mark is not achieved. Supplemental materials necessary to complete this course can be accessed online.
Certificate Of Completion For Supervisors
Upon successful completion of this online ground disturbance course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing. The certificate is valid for 3 years from the course completion date indicated on the certificate.
